De regreso a Chile\, en la dé\;cada los 80 y 90\, realiza diversas obras en coautorí\;a con destacados arquitectos como Mario Pé\;rez de Arce Laví\;n\, Montserrat Palmer\, Mario Pé\ ;rez De Arce Antonic\, Rodrigo Pé\;rez de Arce\, Ramó\;n L&oac ute\;pez\, Cecilia Puga y Smiljan Radic. En 1997 funda la oficina Fern&aac ute\;ndez Courard Arquitectos\, donde desarrolla proyectos de arquitectura \, paisaje y arquitectura interior.\nEntre sus obras má\;s significa tivas\, es posible mencionar el Polideportivo (1988)\, la remodelaci&oacut e\;n del Centro Cultural Estació\;n Mapocho (1994)\, el Parque In&ea cute\;s de Suá\;rez (1994)\, el Parque Bicentenario (2007)\, la rest auració\;n del Parque Quinta Normal (2011)\, y el Edificio Moneda Bi centenario (2014).\nHa diseñ\;ado diversos edificios y espacios para los Campus de la Pontificia Universidad Cató\;lica de Chile\, como la remodelació\;n del patio del Centro de Extensió\;n en Casa Central (1990)\, el Templo de San Joaquí\;n (1997)\, el Hall Univers itario (2003) y el Centro de Documentació\;n Sergio Larraí\;n Garcí\;a Moreno en el Campus Lo Contador (1997).\nLa relevancia de s u obra fue reconocida en 2014 con el Premio Nacional de Arquitectura\, al cual se suman diversos galardones a lo largo de su carrera profesional. Es ademá\;s un trabajo que el ar quitecto describe como el registro de un viaje por Europa en el que visita lugares a los que só\;lo habí\;a tenido acceso por medio de f otografí\;as\, ilustraciones y libros. El viaje es un sitio producti vo para la fotografí\;a desde el anuncio de su &lsquo\;descubrimient o&rsquo\; en 1839 (que es en realidad el anuncio de un mé\;todo para fijar en una superficie las imá\;genes producidas por una cá\ ;mara). Itinerarios de turismo esté\;tico como el \;Grand Tour\, de registro patrimonial impulsados por el estado como las \;Missions Hé\;liographiques\, o expediciones arqueoló\;gicas a sitios de difí\;cil acceso\, inducen desarrollos té\;cnicos en torno al proceso fotográ\;fico\, pero tambié\;n las primeras series de fotografí\;as\, que regresan a la metró\;polis en forma de im presiones y posteriormente libros.\n \;\nEn las fotografí\;as de Fontecilla\, el exterior es un material a partir del cual se construye un interior. El encuentro entre superficies genera un espacio\, en el sentid o que le atribuirí\;a Walter Benjamin a la superficie del interior c omo repositorio de las huellas de la vida metropolitana. En la obra de Fon tecilla estas superficies\, sus colores\, texturas\, diseñ\;os y acc identes\, son ademá\;s evidencias de &ldquo\;modos de ver&rdquo\; an teriores a sus imá\;genes. Los espacios que construye Felipe no exis ten en el mundo sino só\;lo como composiciones producto del ojo del fotó\;grafo. Attali studied photography at Goldsmiths\, University of London\, she co ntinued her studies as a visiting scholar at Columbia GSAPP with a support of Fulbright Foundation\, and Waseda University\, Tokyo. She has a Ph.D. from RMIT University\, School of Architecture and Design\, Australia.\n&nb sp\;\n \;\nAttali began her photographic career in 1993 as a landscape and archeology photographer. For over ten years she photographed excavati on sites and archeological findings specializing in the documentation of a ncient painting in under earth tombs with the use of UV and IR radiation. During this period\, Attali worked in various museums in Greece\, Turkey\, Italy\, France and UK. Her corps of archeological work includes thousands of photographs produced for scientific documentation and archaeological p ublications.\n \;\n \;\nIn parallel with her past work as an arche ology photographer\, she photographed landscapes in different parts of the world. Her pictures have been published and exhibited internationally. He r work has been supported by prestigious institutions\, such as Fulbright\ , Japan Foundation\, Graham Foundation\, Dreyer&rsquo\;s Foundation\, Norw egian Embassy in Copenhagen\, Danish Arts Council\, Chilean Ministry of Cu lture culminating to numerous exhibitions and publications. During the pas t 20 years\, Attali has been preoccupied primarily with architectural phot ography\, both as a profession and as a fine-art photographer. The course aims to investigate a rchitecture photography as a means to analyze and communicate novel spatia l interrelationships between architecture and its natural or man-made cont ext.
